1 cup packed brown sugar 3/4 cup butter, softened 3/4 cup milk 1 tsp vanilla 1 egg 2 cup whole wheat flour 1 cup wheat germ 1 1/2 tsp baking powder 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 tsp nutmeg 1 cup shredded zucchini 1/4 cup raisins 1/4 cup chopped nuts Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly grease cookie sheet. Mix brown sugar, butter, milk, vanilla and egg in large bowl. Stir in flour, wheat germ, baking powder, cinnamon, salt and nutmeg. Fold in zucchini and raisins. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto cookie sheet. Bake 12 - 15 minutes or until light brown. Immediately remove from cookie sheet; cool and frost. Browned Butter Frosting 1/4 cup butter 2 1/2 cup powdered sugar 1 tsp vanilla 2 Tbs milk Heat butter over low heat until delicate brown; remove from heat. Mix in powdered sugar. Beat in vanilla and milk until smooth. If necessary, stir in additional milk, 1/2 t at a time, until spreading consistency. Frost cookies and store tightly covered.
