Well now that I am back in the USA, I have begun to search for work. Needless to say it is not as simple as it used to be. There is so much competition in the workforce that it is very hard.
If we put our pride aside and not try to get something that pays BIG money, just because we qualify or feel that we are worth the extra bucks, then perhaps we might stand a better chance of getting a paying job. Granted it might not be the best that we want, or would likely accept in better times, but at least it is a source of income and will help put food on the table.
This is true no matter who might be searching for work. Sometimes we just have to go beyond out expertise or comfort zone and accept a position that will allow us to pay our bills, put food on the table and pay for the gas it might take to get to that work. Sometimes it is better not to work, if it is going to cost us more in the long run.
Looking on the Internet for those work from home jobs all so far seem to be nothing more than a scam or a ploy to get us to buy into their gimicks or order their products that tell us absolutely nothing. So my advice to anyone looking on the Internet for just such a job, be careful and use common sense. The old addage of if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is not good.
Anyway, I do hope that something comes through soon, so I shall be patient and wait and see.
